Are you looking for a convenient way to mark the beginning of Lent? Would you like to receive communion and ashes on Ash Wednesday but struggle to find time in your busy day? Are you not affiliated with a church or feel uncomfortable visiting a different church? Don’t let these reasons slow you down on Ash Wednesday, March 6. The United Methodist Church of New Canaan is proving easy, informal opportunities to receive both communion and ashes on Ash Wednesday. All are welcome to stop by during any of the following times: 7:00am-9:15am, 11:30am-12:30pm or 5:00pm-6:30pm. The UMC is located across from the police department at 165 South Avenue.
