A Summer Outdoor Movie Event is scheduled for Friday night July 15th. It’s a free town event.

Developed in partnership with the Recreation Department, the community is invited to watch the movie ‘Zootopia’ on a 26-foot inflatable screen. The movie will start at sundown (about 8:30 p.m.) and will be held on the great lawn at Waveny outside the Waveny House.

Residents are encouraged to bring a blanket or low beach chair, have picnic dinner, etc. It is sponsored by Bankwell, Karl Chevrolet, Walter Stewart’s Market, NC Advertiser and Baskin-Robbins.
