Come together with middle school girls from across Fairfield County to learn from Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame how some of our state’s most remarkable women overcame obstacles and grew into confident leaders! Be inspired by the powerful stories of women like Marian Anderson who dealt with racial discrimination, Sophie Tucker who struggled with body image, and others across many fields.

Be inspired by 6th grader Jessica Brocksom, Connecticut’s Kid Governor, elected in November 2016 by 5th graders across the state through a civics program created by the Connecticut Public Affairs Network.

Also featuring a poetry workshop, teambuilding games, and lunch.
