Displaying art can be an art unto itself, and a challenge to get it right. New Canaan Library is pleased to present a talk and demonstration by Betsy Jesup of Handwright Gallery on Thursday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room. Please register online at newcanaanlibrary.org.
Betsy Jesup will use a presentation to show how to create a gallery wall or style a picture ledge to showcase art to its fullest advantage in the home. From photographs to paintings, the frame is very important to the final result, and Betsy will speak on how to choose a frame that will enhance the art while complementing transitional, contemporary or traditional home décor. There will be ample time for the audience to ask questions and ask for advice.
