The United Methodist Church of New Canaan (UMC) invites you to celebrate Christmas Eve with a family service at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016. The UMC is located across from the police station at 165 South Avenue. The service will consist of the retelling the CHRISTmas story through verse, hymns, carols and children participation. A string quartet and the Youth Bell Choir will accompany the service, which will end with a candle lighting by all in attendance. The sanctuary of the UMC will be aglow with the spirit of Christmas! The service will end in time for caroling on God’s Acre, scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
