Charis Chamber Voices will present a program of 17th and 18th century works from the heart of the Baroque period, including Handel’s acrobatic Dixit Dominus featuring soloists and a 12-piece orchestra playing period instruments. Arthur Sjogren is the Artistic Director for this special concert.
Everyone knows Handel’s Messiah, but everyone should know his Dixit Dominus,
written when he was just 22 years old and working in Italy!

Works by Bach, Zelenka and Durante will also be performed.
