Bunny Rescue Group Comes Aug. 16 to Village Critter Outfitter
Saturday, August, 16, 2014 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
New Canaan, CT – Village Critter Outfitter is hosting an adoption event this week at its store geared to anyone that is looking to adopt a small animal from a local rescue group. On Saturday August 16th, Hop A Long Hollow (http://www.hopalonghollow.org/) will be visiting.
Hop A Long Hollow has placed over 1500 rabbits and small animals in new loving homes and safe foster care. They work with many animal rescue organizations to get specific animals the most knowledgeable care possible. Their goal is to help “re-home” abandoned and neglected animals into “forever homes”. They aim to give all their animals a second chance at life.
“We welcome Hop A Long Hollow Animal Rescue for a chance to make a difference in a homeless pet’s life”, explained Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. “Fostering any of these rabbits or small animals is another way to provide food and shelter to these homeless small animals. Looking for a rewarding experience, stop in and talk with Hop A Long Hollow Animal Rescue this weekend.”
The award winning Village Critter Outfitter has been serving Connecticut with the finest selection of pet supplies and clothing, while caring for the community’s animals.
The event takes place on August 16th from Noon to 3:00pm at Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry Street. For more information, visit www.villagecritteroutfitter.com or call the store at 203-972-7000.
