Boz Scaggs is best known as famed guitarist and lead singer of the Steve Miller Band in the 60’s and his solo career which led to many Top 20 hit singles, many of which came off of his five time multi-platinum album Silk Degrees -including “Jump Street,” “It’s Over,” “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle,” and more. But now he has a new album, A Fool to Care, which he wrote over four days in Nashville, drawing inspiration from the music of Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas – his home state. His music has always crossed over a wide spectrum of genres, including American roots, rock, jazz, R&B and blues to create a trademark sound.
