The New Canaan Boy Scout Troop 70 will host its annual Tag Sale this Saturday April 25, in the gym at St. Aloysius School in New Canaan. General admission is free from 9 am to 3 pm. Early birds can enter from 8-9 am for a $10 fee.

Items available include bikes, sporting goods, housewares, electronics, jewelry, holiday items, baby items, artwork, rugs, mirrors, lamps, tools, small furniture and antiques, and children’s toys and games.

The tag sale funds the Troop’s activities and equipment for the year. Troop 70 also uses the money raised by the sale to support local charities in New Canaan and the surrounding area. In the past, the Scouts have donated money to a number of local charities and causes including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, New Canaan Department of Human Services, St Mark’s Church, St. Aloysius Church and Our Lady of Good Council in New York City.
