“America in a Fragmenting World”

Jack Jacobs, Medal of Honor Recipient and Analyst for NBC/MSNBC, will speak at the World Affairs Forum on January 21 at the Ferguson Library in Stamford on “America in a Fragmenting World”. The program will begin at 5:45 P.M. with networking and refreshments, followed by the presentation at 6:15. The program will conclude at 7:30 P.M.
Colonel Jack Jacobs, NBC Military and Political Analyst, earned the Medal of Honor for exceptional heroism on the battlefields of Vietnam. He also holds three Bronze Stars and two Silver Stars.
Jacobs served on the faculty of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the National War College in Washington, D.C. After retirement, he founded and was chief operating officer of Auto Finance Group. As a managing director of Bankers Trust Co., he led Global Investment Management to $2.2 billion in assets and later co-founded a similar business for Lehman Brothers.
He is director of the Medal of Honor Foundation and serves on a number of charitable boards of directors. His memoir, “If Not Now, When?: Duty and Sacrifice in America’s Time of Need” was the winner of the Colby Award in 2010.
The cost for admission to the event is $20 per person for the general public and is free for 2014-2015 Forum and AR Series members, faculty and students.
