On Saturday, June 14, someone will be holding a key that starts the winning 2014 Corvette Stingray at KARL Chevrolet in New Canaan. The winner of the seventh Splash Car Wash “Wash It & Win Contest” will drive the Stingray away with a two year lease, courtesy of contest co-sponsors Splash and KARL Chevrolet.

Each Saturday for the past four weeks, a key winner has been randomly drawn from the week’s entries at the KARL dealership and at each of the 16 Splash locations in Connecticut and New York. (Several keys were also drawn from the Splash Facebook page.) A total of 74 keys have been given to winning entrants, each of whom will have won $200 worth of Splash car wash and detail services.

All key holders are contest finalists and are invited to this Saturday’s Splash “Start-Me-Up Party” at 10:30 am at KARL to see if their key is the one that starts the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

“This is the seventh car Splash has given away in contests, but it’s head and shoulders above anything else we’ve done,” declared Chris Fisher, co-owner of Splash. “I wish I could enter the contest and win it. The Corvette is simply an awesome car,” he said.

“Saturday’s party is open to the public, and we’ll have a breakfast buffet for people who stop by starting around 9 am,” said Steve Karl, Vice President of KARL Chevrolet. “We know everyone will enjoy seeing the 2014 Stingray – it’s the North American Car of the Year – as well as checking out the other new models from Chevrolet. It’s been a pleasure partnering with the Splash team on this contest,” he added.

Peter Bush will emcee the event, broadcasting live on site on 95.9 the Fox.
