“I had a female emergency and had to urgently use a bathroom. I put my hazard lights on and used a bathroom for less than three minute. When I ran back to my car, the parking officer handed me the ticket – it wasn’t even on my windshield. When I told her I had a female emergency she scoffed at me and said ‘too bad.’ I object to being laughed at and not being taken seriously. I did my best to put my hazard lights on to indicate there as an extenuating circumstance. I decline to pay this ticket.”

“I work at New Canaan Field Club and was picking up ice cream at Baskin Robbins for our kick off day at the pool for the kids. As I picked up the ice cream, there was one spot left in front near the store front. I understand my parking was not ideal but my thought was rather than put my hazards on and illegally pick up the ice cream, I parked poorly to quickly pick up the ice cream for the kids.”

“As a major tax payer in this town & all that WE DO for the town you would think that we would get a little consideration with this parking girl that loves to give us tickets. I would like the same consideration that she gives others on the block, a little bep, a wave tct. not a quick ticket. She clearly knows that these are my vehicles because they have our company name on them.”

“I backed into parking space, the rear wheel as seen in photos is exactly where it should be. The front may have been out As there was a huge truck in front of me and I did the best I could the view from the rear clearly shows this.”

“Went into Mobil Station for less than a minute and a ticket was issued for obstructing 2 spaces when the entire lot was empty at 9:21AM. I do not mind when it is well deserved but this is ridiculous! Please reconsider. Thank you!”

“I parked in the lot next to the Visiting Nurse Thrift Shop. I ran in for 10 minutes? to get information about what donations they accept, do they pick up, etc. When I came out the parking woman had just put a ticket on my car. I explained what I was doing and she said once it prints out there’s nothing she can do and to come ask for an appeal. Thank you”

“Dear officer, I’m sorry to write this message to you. I went to music store 10 min ago. When I went out I got this ticket. When I parked my car, I have two parking spot, consider other customer in other store. I may save the spot for other. I only park my car on front of music store. Because I need go to that store then I choose the parking lot. When I parked I looked the green parking board showed it is two-hour parking. Please consider I’m very fresh here, and give me a warning, and get back the ticket. I will pay more attention next time.”
