Police on Thursday night arrested a 44-year-old Stamford man by warrant and charged him with second-degree harassment.
On Jan. 10, police took a complaint from a victim about a harassment situation involving the man, officials said. Following an investigation, authorities determined that he’d been going onto the victim’s property leaving notes to be contacted by that person, according to a police report.
Police withheld information regarding the content of the notes.
The man turned himself in to New Canaan Police at about 9:30 p.m. on July 19.
He was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 2 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
