A former employee at the Outback Teen Center has been arrested on a misdemeanor breach of peace charge following accusations that he made inappropriate comments to group of youths while talking about the downtown facility, police say.
It isn’t clear what the former employee is accused of saying during a work-related visit to Saxe Middle School. He turned himself in at about 8:45 a.m. Thursday after police told him they had a warrant for his arrest.
Officials at the center said the former employee had been hired in November as a part-time youth program director.
The president of the center’s board could not immediately be reached for comment.
