A day spa is planned for the former Canaan Nails space near the southeastern corner of Main Street and East Avenue, according to a building permit application filed last week.
The 938-square-foot space will include a waiting area, pedicure stations, public space and three rooms, including for massage and facials, according to the application, filed April 7.
Canaan Nails two years ago had expanded into a second location across East Avenue—next to Ten Thousand Villages, slated to close at the end of May.
An interior renovation estimated to cost $15,000 is planned for the new spa.
It isn’t clear what it will be called or just when it will open. The principals of the day spa’s LLC, from Norwalk and Ridgefield, could not immediately be reached for comment.
