Reilly – who also made the First Team last year – had another outstanding season in the circle for New Canaan, striking out 114 batters in 95 1/3 innings pitched with an ERA of 3.23. The Babson-bound Reilly also helped herself at the plate, leading the team with a .361 batting average with 3 doubles, 3 triples and 16 RBI. Her performance in New Canaan’s 2-1 win over rival Darien was the highlight of New Canaan’s 11-11 season.

“Ali worked hard and it’s another great accomplishment to add to her high school career,” New Canaan head coach Danielle Simoneau told NewCanaanite.com. “She will be greatly missed, a set of shoes that are going to be very hard to fill.”

Schlim hit at a .351 clip with 1 home run and 16 RBI, while going 6-3 on the mound with 60 K’s in 50 2/3 innings pitched.
