Police arrested two New York City residents last week following a larceny downtown.
At about 7:57 p.m. on Oct. 20, officers were dispatched to 36 Pine St. following a suspected larceny at a business there, according to a police report.
They found two suspects—a 24-year-old from Staten Island and a 23-year-old from Brooklyn—on Park Street, the report said. The pair admitted to police what already had been captured on video surveillance, the report said, and resulted in charges of conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were released after promising to appear Nov. 2 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
