NCHS Fashion Show

$15-2515 – $15-2525.00The New Canaan High School “Senior Fashion Show Post-Prom Fund-Raiser”, hosted by the 2015 graduating class, will proudly take place on Saturday, March 28, at 7 p.m. in the High School’s Auditorium. All students, parents and members of the community are enthusiastically invited to come out and enjoy the show.
A host of anxious seniors and invited New Canaan teaching faculty will model the latest prom fashions and desirable clothing couture for the off-to-college in the fall, graduate. Masters of Ceremony this year will include seniors Matt DeMattia, Chloe Demauro, Jake Morris, Carly Risom, Jamie Schlim, Charlie Sosnick, Chris Tohir and Corrine Vietorisz.
The evening’s entertainment is set to include various musical productions including the NCHS Orchestra, the NCHS cast of “Grease”, the 7th & 8th grade cast of “Seussical” and the band “Triple Coil” featuring NCHS seniors Dan Antoniu, Justin Podlesak and Kyle Street, as well as, video clips written, directed, produced and staring seniors!!
The show will feature captivating formal gowns from A Step Ahead of Stamford and charismatic formal attire from Camillo Tuxedo of Norwalk, as well as, casual yet sporty looks from our gracious local vendors, including Athletic Shoe Factory, Blaze-In Sportswear, Caren Forbes, Darien Sport Shop, Island Outfitters, Jos A Banks, She La La, TOGS, Vineyard Vines and Wave. As is the annual philanthropic tradition, the senior class will be collecting gently used prom gowns/dresses and accessories, to be donated to Stamford’s Cinderella Project. Cleaned formal dresses on hangers will be accepted in the attendance office of NCHS, March 23-28, from 7:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
All proceeds raised from the Fashion Show event will benefit the 55th annual Post-Prom Party, which is to held at Waveny House, following the senior prom, on Friday, May 15th. The Post-Prom Party was created and maintained for the purpose of keeping the students safe, while providing a celebration after the prom, so please make every effort to come out and support the show!!
