Police on Sunday arrested a 53-year-old Greenwich man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At approximately 11:04 p.m. on May 26, members of the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched to 6 Forest St. on a report of a possibly intoxicated person leaving a bar and operating a motor vehicle, officials said.
After conducting a motor vehicle stop and speaking with the operator, the officer detected signs of impairment, according to a police report.
According to the report, the man failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for processing. He refused to submit to a test to establish his blood-alcohol level, the report said.
The man posted $250 bond and police scheduled him to appear June 6 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
