Police last week arrested a 37-year-old Norwalk man on a misdemeanor drug charge after stopping his car at Main Street and Elm Place.
At about 5:30 p.m. on April 25, an officer on patrol stopped the man’s car after smelling marijuana as it passed, according to a police report.
Following an investigation, police charged the man with possession of more than .5 ounces of marijuana.
He was released after promising to appear May 6 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.

At about 11:58 a.m. on April 25, a 30-year-old New York City turned himself in at New Canaan Police headquarters on a paperless re-arrest warrant.
According to Connecticut Judicial Branch records, state police in June 2017 cited the man for driving without a license and speeding.
New Canaan Police charged him with failure to respond to a payable violation.
He was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear May 8 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
