‘Ella & Henry’ Children’s Clothing Shop on Elm Street To Close
|
Ella & Henry, a children’s clothing shop that featured European products and opened on Elm Street about two years ago, is set to close, officials say. It isn’t clear just when or why the store is closing—its owner was not immediately available for comment—though signs in the window and an employee at the shop confirmed it. Signs in the window also advertised significant sales: 70 percent off of Steiff-brand stuffed animals and 50 percent off Hape toys and Freshly Picked shoes. Ella & Henry opened in October 2015, selling clothes and accessories for newborns through 12-year-olds and featuring brands such as Steiff, Papermoon and Bellybutton. It occupied the commercial space next to “the alley” on Elm Street, years ago the home of Baskin Robbins (now on Main Street) and more recently occupied by Sarah Campbell, which had moved a few doors up before Ella & Henry opened.
