GE Smith one of the most in demand R&B/Blues guitarists in the world is making a rare appearance in New Canaan today. It all starts at 5pm “In the Alley” at New Canaan Music, 135 Elm Street, New Canaan. Millions know GE Smith best by his unruly blond ponytail always falling across his face during his tenure stint fronting the Saturday Night Live Band. The list of musicians and bands that GE Smith has played and toured with spans the history of rock and roll. Hall and Oates, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty , Neil Young, George Harrison and Bob Dylan are just a few. New Canaan’s School of Rock House Band kicks things off at 5pm followed by local band Birdwalk.
