With hits “Surrender”, “I Want You to Want Me”, “Dream Police” and “The Flame”, among others, Cheap Trick Robin Zander (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), and Tom Petersson (bass) are just as strong today as they were when they formed together in 1973. They have often been referred to in the Japanese press as the “American Beatles”. The band was also ranked No. 25 in VH1’s list of the 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. In April 2016, the band release their first album in five years, “Bang, Zoom,Crazy….Hello,” and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
