October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In support of this important initiative, New Canaan Library, co-sponsored by Stamford Hospital, New Canaan Chamber of Commerce and New Canaan YMCA, will host a panel discussion on optimal breast health with top medical professionals from Stamford Hospital. The event will be held on October 1, 2014 at 12:30 PM in the Adrian Lamb Room. In addition, Stamford Hospital’s Mobile Wellness Center will be on site at the Library parking lot from 10-5, for free mammogram screenings. The panel discussion will be held in the Adrian Lamb Room. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required, online at newcanaanlibrary.org.
